Patch 20 Notes — Aran & the Coloring Prism

Our biggest update yet: new class, gear dyes, the Family system and much more.

★ NEW new content   ⚙ FIX bug fix   ✚ QoL quality of life

Coloring Prism: dye your gear

  • ★ NEW New Coloring Prism item: press F9 to open the window and change the RGB of your weapons and effects.
  • Available only in the Cash Shop.
  • Other players see your colors, and they persist across maps and relogs.

Family system

  • ★ NEW Family perks now work: redeem rep points for double EXP and double drop (1.5x and 2x, solo or party-wide).
  • Recruit members, grow the tree and earn rep by playing together.

Mounts

  • ★ NEW Over 500 imported mounts can now be equipped, ridden and traded, each with its own name. They will come out in the gachapon.

Codex

  • ★ NEW The Codex book with per-level stats: redeem it at the MapleGenesis Administrator (Free Market NPC).
  • ✚ QoL Check your card progress with the same Administrator or by typing @cards in chat.

Combat & bosses

  • ⚙ FIX Armor Crash, Magic Crash and Power Crash now properly remove boss shields (100% chance, larger area). Tested against Horntail.
  • ⚙ FIX Fixed the Corsair Battleship crash when receiving buffs.

Maps & leveling

  • ✚ QoL More mobs in Garden of Darkness I (Jr. Lucida) and Kulan Field V (Chief Gray).

Quality of life

  • ✚ QoL Player shops now last 48 hours.
  • ✚ QoL Client stability on older PCs: fixed library compatibility plus a prism safety system that protects machines with limited graphics.
